What is Inner Work?

Is meditation known as inner work? We try to explain these popular questions “What is Inner Work?” and “who can do inner work?”.

What is the use of inner work?

Inner work

Before we answer What is Inner Work, let us first know the importance of inner work.

Inner work is an important part of getting into good love life or good financial shape or getting success in any field of your life.

Many people do the outer work to achieve their goals.

For example, people who want love might practice the Law of attraction OR people who need financial independence might try to develop career skills and find jobs.

But they often neglect their inner attitudes which also play a major role in their current life state.

For e.g. Lacking confidence, procrastinating, being clingy to your lover, and refusing to look at one’s finances out of fear are all inner, mental issues that lead to poor love life OR poor financial habits.

Shifting one’s attitude towards love life OR financial matters leads to better outcomes. And we can apply this same logic to other matters in our life too.

Inner work doesn’t just transform your own life, it transforms other people’s lives too.

For e.g. Inner work matters in work-life too. As a manager, your business performance depends heavily on your employees’ inner life. Their feelings and behaviours will affect how your business runs.

So building your team’s or employees’ inner work life with positive motivation, appreciation, and recognition can improve work performance. Consider this – 79% of people say that “lack of appreciation” is the reason for leaving an otherwise good workplace.

What is inner work?

Inner work

So what is inner work?

Inner work is shaping your emotions, beliefs, and attitudes to create a healthier and happier version of yourself.

It’s about adjusting and correcting your mindset so that it helps you better facilitate your goals, whether they are in your love life or in your career.

As the physical 3d world is a reflection of your inner world, so by doing inner work and changing your inner world, you can change your physical reality as well.

So inner work is a procedure that can help you to work on yourself or your inner being, to see the results that you desire in your physical reality.

How to do inner work?

How

Now you have an idea that what is inner work, you may ask how to do inner work.

A YouTube video can not explain all the steps of inner work.

A live Teacher is required who can teach and monitor your progress and then can guide you accordingly.

As each doctor have a different style of treating a patient, similarly each inner work teacher has their own way to teach inner work.

So Inner work can be done in different ways.

Who should do Inner Work?

who should do it

Understanding what is inner work is one thing and who should do inner work, is another thing.

Anyone who wants to achieve their goals and get success in their life mission should do inner work.

There are generally two ways to do any work. One is hard work and one is smart work.

For example, Let’s say someone gave you a task to deliver a letter to Rakesh in sector 65 Chandigarh.

One approach can be that you go to every house in sector 65 Chandigarh and find out whether Rakesh lives there or not. If he lives there then you can deliver the letter. This will be very hectic and time-consuming as you will have to search for many houses before delivering the letter.

Another approach can be that you can ask the sender of this letter to provide you with the exact address where this letter is to be delivered. Then you can use a tool like Google Maps to find the exact location of Rakesh and then deliver the letter in the shortest possible time, in the most efficient way. This is called smart work.

If you want to achieve your goals in the shortest possible time in the most efficient way then there is no other option than to do inner work.

With inner work, all the obstacles that are coming your way will slowly start to resolve themselves.

Whether you want harmony in your relationship or whether you want success in your job, everything can be changed by inner work.

When to join inner work? OR When to start doing inner work?

when

So when to start doing inner work?

It’s very Human to postpone things to the last moment.

For example, many people who are not regular in doing exercise will join a gym or health club, when the date of their marriage comes close. They want to look fit to their partner and others on this special occasion and thus they join a health club maybe 3 months before the marriage date, thinking that they will get fit by the time the ceremony of marriage will happen.

Unfortunately, it does not work this way. Being physically fit is a lifestyle or we can say that it is a way of living. You can not go to the gym a few months before a special occasion and then expect to be fit in a short time. It takes time to understand the inner details of a healthy lifestyle and to apply those details to your own life.

Similarly, human tends to postpone inner work to the last moment.

Many people approach us for inner work only when they are emotionally in distress.

They might be getting divorced/separated or their twin flame is getting married OR the stress of this relationship has increased beyond their tolerance.

We want to highlight that inner work will not magically solve all your problems overnight. It is a slow process that teaches you the steps to become immune to the ups and downs of life, especially for the twin flame journey.

It’s better to start inner work as soon as possible so that you are prepared to handle the challenges of your life in a graceful manner.

How much inner work is to be done?

Do some people ask How much inner work you have to do before your twin will come back to you?

This question is similar to another question that generally people ask when they join a health club.

On joining a health club, people ask how much time it will take to lose weight or how much time it will take to build muscles.

The answer to this question depends on how fast you can learn and apply the concepts that your health coach teaches.

It depends on your dedication and not your desperation.

It depends on your consistent effort and not just your wishful thinking.

It depends that how much you are willing to change your habits of eating less healthy food and replacing it with a strict diet and exercise schedule.

Similarly, the answer to the question that how much inner work you have to do, is dependent upon

  • How much priority do you give to inner work, over your other commitments?
  • How much are you willing to follow the guidance that you receive from your angels, no matter how difficult the decision may be?
  • How much you are willing to change your habits and nonoptimal behavior patterns?
  • How much you are going to give yourself priority over others including your kids?
  • and many more such questions…

We hear these concerns from people who approach us that

  • the inner work class timing does not suit them, or
  • they have families to look after, so they can not get time for inner work or
  • they are too busy in their work routine or
  • they are not able to do anything consistently
  • and so on…

Overall, the answer to this question depends on how much your soul has evolved by doing inner work till now.

You have to first understand the journey of evolution of a soul and use that knowledge to evolve your own soul.

Inner work is not just Reiki healing as many Reiki healers approach us who are struggling with their twin flame journey.

How to find an inner work teacher?

Jnana Param Ritu Om

After getting to know What is Inner Work, the next question arises How can you find an inner work teacher?

One approach can be to follow a person or teacher who had already achieved the result that you desire.

For example, let’s say you want to learn the steps of setting up a successful YouTube channel. For this, you can follow the teachings of someone who had already set up a YouTube channel successfully and they are also running this channel with massive followers.

Similarly, if you want peace and harmony with your twin flame, then you can follow a teacher who has already attained this peace and harmony with their twin flame.

If the teachings of this teacher resonate with you then it will be an extra validation that this teacher is good for you.

When you follow such a teacher and it brings positive changes in your life, it means the teacher is good for you.

Depending on your karmic baggage, the changes that happen in your life might be different from the changes that happen in the life of other people.

Well! this all depends on the evolution of your soul and knowing about twin flame spiritual awakening stages will give more understanding.

Evolution of Soul

So Before we answer how to check inner work progress? Lets us first understand the journey of the Evolution of a soul to better understand twin flame spiritual awakening stages.

By Evolution, we mean the expansion of your understanding of spiritual truths.

Let’s say that Every soul earns experience points by learning lessons.

Let’s say that a soul had zero experience points when it took birth for the first time. It may have come in form of bacteria or water or plant or any other state.

It slowly gained experience by living on this planet. A soul evolves as it gains experience.

With Reference to Book “Immortal Talks”, a soul gets birth in the human body when its experience points are 7 or above.

A soul having 6 experience points is like a monkey or animal soul.

It is only concerned about basic needs like food, sleep, and sex.

Twin Flame Spiritual awakening stages

Let’s discuss these Twin Flame Spiritual awakening stages briefly here.

Seven experience points – Belief System

Souls that have seven experience points are beginners on the path of devotion and this is the first of the total Twin Flame Spiritual awakening stages.

They subscribe to a belief system that can either be reason-based like science, philosophy, etc. or experience-based like a sect, religion, love, humanity, spirituality, etc.

Every normal human being has a minimum of seven experience points.

They all subscribe to a belief system whether they are aware of it or not.

Eight experience points – Group Belief System

Souls that own eight experience points have advanced a step further on the path of devotion.

They not only subscribe to a belief system but also associate with people with the same belief system.

The feeling that they are not alone in what they believe strengthens their adherence to their belief system.

They feel part of a community of people who have the same beliefs.

Nine experience points – Invest in the Belief System

Souls that own nine experience points are even more advanced on the path of devotion.

They begin to invest themselves in their belief system. They start making sacrifices for it.

Some devote their time, others sacrifice their wealth, possessions, cattle, comforts, or whatever else their gods, visible or invisible Gurus, mentors, or their books inspire them to sacrifice.

Ten experience points – Avoiding other belief systems

Souls that own ten experience points are on the next level of devotion.

They avoid communicating with people in their social circle who subscribe to a different belief system.

They avoid everything that might shake their beliefs.

They avoid all distractions and continue to invest themselves more and more into their belief system by way of donating their time, effort, and possessions.

Eleven experience points – Countering other belief systems

Souls that own Eleven experience points have gained so much experience and strength in their belief system that they stop avoiding and instead start countering other belief systems.

They may not debate with other people but they build arguments quickly in their heads against opposing views.

They declare their belief systems to be the only and supreme truth and dismiss others either as its derivative or completely false.

Twelve experience points – Your belief is the only truth

Souls that own Twelve experience points have come across and successfully countered so many other belief systems that they are confident that everything under the Sun can be explained by what they believe in.

If something can’t be explained, they have an explanation for why that is so.

They start seeing their gods and ideas in every phenomenon they witness.

Thirteen experience points – Don’t feel the need to explain

Souls that own Thirteen experience points don’t feel any need for explanations, nor do they make any effort to convince others.

They see the entire world as a beautiful manifestation, of the gods they worship or ideas they believe in.

Fourteen experience points – Two souls in one body

image

When a soul reaches Fourteen experience points, the voice of its higher self becomes very strong, as if two souls i.e. Lower self and higher self are living in one body in harmony.

If the person with a soul having 14 experience points, gets engrossed in a difficult situation, then its higher self guides its lower self through the situation to harmony.

For e.g. Let’s say there is a devotee called Rakesh and his soul has reached 14 experience points.

Let’s say He, is frustrated due to work pressure. When he experiences the emotion of frustration in all its intensity, then the inner voice of his higher self helps him realize that ‘this is just a test’ and with awareness and proper tools, he can clear this test.

His Higher Self & Lower Self together make him feel enlightened.

When your soul reaches 14 experience points, then you experience harmony within yourself, with your twin flame, and with everyone around you.

So to reach a harmonious reunion with your twin, your soul needs to earn 14 experience points.

Higher Self & Lower Self

Both the higher self and lower self living in the same body are like two people living in one house. They both complement each other and they live together in harmony.

The journey of a soul from seven experience points to 14 doesn’t go as smoothly as it sounds.

It all depends on the vehicle of the belief system it subscribes to. The belief system shouldn’t be broken otherwise the soul may get stuck in the middle for a long time.

Even if the belief system is alright, it may take more than one birth for a soul to attain 14 experience points.
